PUBLIC ART
Karen is an experienced painter of large scale sculptures and has been involved in two high profile public art events in Scotland, "Penguin Parade" and "Oor Wullie's Big Bucket Trail".
Tick Tock was designed and painted by Karen in 2018 as part of Maggie's Penguin Parade. Tick Tock was sponsored by the Wellgate Shopping Centre during the parade and was subsequently auctioned and purchased by the Wellgate Shopping Centre in September 2018. Tick Tock now permanently resides underneath his inspiration, the Wellgate Clock.
"Wullieosaurus" was one of the Dundee scultures in the 2019 "Oor Wullie Big Bucket Trail". OWBBT was Scotland's first ever nationwide public art trail. Wullieosaurus was situated in Balgay Park, Dundee and was sponsored by Curtis Banks. Wullieosaurus raised £4000 at auction for Archie's - Ninewells. The location of Wullieosaurus is currently unknown.
